Web Designer
Job Purpose
Team: The Information Technology and Advancement Team increases Created Equal’s efficiency. This includes, but is not limited to, developing web-based applications for internal use, leading technical support, and managing Created Equal websites (e.g., CreatedEqual.org, Volunteer.CreatedEqual.org—a portal for recruiting, training, and deploying volunteers).
Position: The Web Designer manages Created Equal websites, providing aesthetic and technical enhancements, updating and creating content, tracking analytics, and otherwise completing tasks to meet overall team goals. The Web Designer, like all full-time staff members, also participates in Created Equal outreach projects.
This is a full-time position.
Qualifications
- Commitment to the pro-life position
- Passion for Created Equal’s combination of pro-life apologetics and public outreach
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel
- “Team player” spirit
- Attention to detail and ability to organize effectively
- Self-starter
- Familiarity with common computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
- Willingness to raise personal support (see below under “Compensation”)
Preferred, Not Required
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent (preferred content areas: Web Design/Development, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science)
- Experience in graphic design and/or website development
Compensation
- Created Equal is a support-raising organization. Staff members are mentored by Created Equal to build a team of ministry partners to support the staff member with prayer and financial contributions to underwrite the individual’s salary.
- Salary is determined by multiple factors, such as education, experience, and need.
- Paid time off and holidays
- Phone: Full-time staff are invited to join Created Equal’s business cell phone plan to cover the monthly fee.
- Health: Full-time staff (and their dependents) are eligible for reimbursement of the monthly fee of membership in a Christian healthshare program.
