Created Equal influences how people think and feel about abortion to save babies’ lives.
Your Team
The Event Planner is part of Created Equal’s Programs Team, which oversees and executes the core mission of Created Equal. This includes, but is not limited to, managing public outreaches on college campuses and outside high schools, leading sidewalk counseling efforts to reach parents entering abortion facilities, and overseeing internship programs.
What You'll Do
The Event Planner provides logistical support within the Programs team before, during, and after the Justice Ride, Created Equal’s week-long pro-life mission trip.
Before: You will manage housing and meals, build the itinerary, work with contacts, and more.
During: You will assist the Director of Programs on-the-ground to manage the trip.
After: You will help to tie up all administrative items
NOTE: This is not a remote position. Relocation to Columbus, OH is required.
Qualifications
- Commitment to the pro-life position
- Passion for Created Equal’s combination of pro-life apologetics and public outreach
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel
- “Team player” spirit
- Attention to detail and ability to organize effectively
- Self-starter
Preferred, Not Required
- Experience in logistics, event planning, or recruitment
- Experience volunteering with Created Equal or other pro-life organizations
Compensation
- Created Equal is a support-raising organization. Staff are mentored to build a team of ministry partners to support the staff member with prayer and financial contributions to underwrite the individual’s salary.
- Salary is determined by multiple factors, such as education, experience, and need.
- Paid time off and holidays
- Phone: Full-time staff are invited to join Created Equal’s business cell phone plan to cover the monthly fee.
- Health: Full-time staff (and their dependents) are reimbursed 100% monthly premium for Christian healthshare program.
